National Lottery Results: Who Won the £145 Million Friday Jackpot?

Date:

The National Lottery hosted one of its largest EuroMillions draws of 2025 on a Friday night, offering an astonishing £145 million prize, while hopeful players from across the UK kept their fingers crossed. Millions of players waited in line at neighbourhood outlets and downloaded lottery apps to purchase tickets for the much-awaited draw, bringing the state into a frenzy.

The National Lottery site received an increased number of visitors as the 7:30 p.m. ticket deadline approached, and shops reported an end-of-day increase in sales. Some people thought that they could be the next UK multimillionaire.

Jackpot Numbers

Camelot, the UK National Lottery owner, confirmed almost immediately after the draw that a single UK ticket included all seven winning numbers, meaning one individual or syndicate had won the full £145 million jackpot.

Just on the heels of the record-breaking £195 million EuroMillions win in July 2022, the win places the winner in the top five lotto winners in UK history. Camelot officials described the result as “extraordinary” and encouraged players to check their numbers immediately.
“This is a massive win,” stated Andy Carter, Camelot’s Senior Winners’ Advisor. We are thrilled to reveal that a UK ticket holder won the entire jackpot and completely transformed their life. We are now expecting the announcement of the winner.

Winner

Camelot says that as of Saturday morning, the winner has yet to claim their prize. The operator warned players to claim their winnings within 180 days of the draw.

Carter went on, “We strongly advise all who took part in Friday’s draw to check their tickets thoroughly.”
“Double-check your sums—£145 million could transform your life and the life of your family forever.”
Before the winner contacted their claims team, Camelot advised them to sign the back of their ticket immediately and store it in a safe place.

What Happens?

There will be a secure verification process as soon as the lucky ticket holder contacts Camelot.
Once the ticket has been verified, Camelot will arrange an individual appointment with one of their expert Winners’ Advisors.
Then, the winner will choose whether to:
Remain anonymous and keep everything secret.
Let the media report their story by going public.
The majority of previous most notable previous UK jackpot winners have remained unnamed. Colin and Chris Weir, who won £161 million in 2011, gained fame and donated much of their fortune to charities.
The winner will take the entire amount tax-free after officials confirm it, since lottery income is exempt from tax.

£145 Million Transform the Life

The staggering size of the jackpot inspires myriad speculations about potential applications for the money. A £145 million lump sum can be applied to pay for:

Upscale homes in New York, Paris, Dubai, and London
Mega-yachts and private jets
Full sets of jewellery, paintings, and exotic cars
Local community investments and charities
Generations of financial security

The winner could secure long-term riches and realise lifelong goals, such as philanthropy or travel, with prudent financial management.

Local Communities Reaction

On Friday night, word of a British-based winner circulated swiftly throughout the United Kingdom. Optimistic individuals flooded social media with responses as they questioned whether the ticket had been sold in their town, city, or local store.
Though no full payout is confirmed, vendors say regular customers celebrated after claiming matching numbers. Some local pubs and shops even posted congratulations under the assumption that the winner might be amongst them.
